Also the rotary pots are assignable to control plug ins, etc, but yet to try. I have not used the transport section yet, but have seen it work very well with Logic Pro 7.
The pads are also very nice, pressure sensors allow for dynamic expression (like the mpc, which i still prefer), and work well with software drum kits.
I have used it for synth and pad sounds, it feels really nice to use, and IMO better than many other so called semi weighted boards. The key action (for a small semi weighted) is excellent, the response curves are a nice touch too. Yep, i just picked up an Axiom 25 last week to use with my bigger boards.
